However, some remoured upcoming changes indicate that snapchat Inc. may be attempting to puch app into the new market. According to a recent report from financial network Cheddhar, the company is planning to reveal a new gamming platform in the next month.
The mobile gaming platform has code named Project Cognac will feature a handful games from outside developers designed to work specifically in the Snapchat app.
According to this source, the new gaming initiative will be unveilled at Snap’s first ever summit for content and developer partners in Los Angels on April 4, 2019. Video initiatives like more original shows will also announced at the event.
An Australian gaming studio whose creative director Luke Muscat is behind the popular phone games like Fruit Ninja and jetpack joyride. However in April 2018, the company launched Snappables, a collection of small games that can be played right in the app. The games use to allow players to put themselves right in the action, in a sense.
